It seems everyone has a podcast these days. So, what do you think Yay or nay? I’ll go first and share why I love a good podcast.
Who can sit and watch every housewife show on Bravo? I mean come on that shit is entertaining. Although I enjoy it, is it really serving me in anyway besides idolizing the glam squad that each person travels with? Not really, I’m not getting anything productive done around the house and chances are I’m a whole arm deep in a bag of boom chika pop, yes, the giant Costco size. Bless you Costco
When I listen to a podcast it’s not only entertaining but motivating as well. I throw in my air pods start knocking out some chores and before you know it, I not only learned a ton of awesome info, but I got my house cleaned. Think about it, when you are on the phone with your girlfriend, mom, or grandma time flies! Like really flies and suddenly, your phone is super-hot on your cheek, so you look down and think “what in the 48 min, grandma I have to go” yea been there.
I can’t even tell you how much listening to a great podcast can change your mood. It switches your mindset instantly. My personal favorites are nutrition, motivation and fitness related. Those types help teach me things that I can use to help myself and others. For free! Yes, podcasts are free, If you’re like me you end up being best friends with the hosts, not in real life but in my head kind of like on Instagram when you watch someone’s stories and feel like you know them, type of best friends, you look forward to hearing what they have to say.
